Ms Beautiful! On July 16th, our amazing Tekki’s ONE YEAR anniversary! YUP! She’s been with us for a whole year now. She’s beating the odds, and is still as feisty and onry as ever. Thank You, God, for saving our little girl!

And thank all of you who have supported us. You have provided Tekki with her food, supplements, medical supplies, Farrier and Vet care. She wouldn’t have made it without you. God bless y’all.

You can still call in to Pioneer Feed (760 366-8451) for a/b pellets. Since our Babies eat up all of your food donations, we keep needing more! Just call and tell ‘em it’s for us, pay, and text me (760 831-2544) so that I can pick up your order. Thanx again for all of your support.

Thank you for ALL you loyal supporters who have helped: build corrals, shelters, clean up, donate pellets for William and Tekki and volunteer at the fund raisers or other community events. Get the word out by mouth and mouse! Giving back to the community with the time, talent and skills given by God. Building a non-profit takes time, effort, energy; unable to do ALL alone and synergistic efforts adds double portion in giving and receiving.

Still unable to fend for himself, we took him in. We fed him a bunch of mice and made sure that he was hydrated. When it was safe to transport him, we brought him to Indio, where he continues to be raised by a surrogate Great Horned Owl. When our youngster is ready for release, he will be brought back here to be let go near where he was found down.

Champ was choking on a bone, so his Mommy came over to the Ranch. Abdominal Thrusts didn’t work, so Conni ‘worked’ the trachea to try to loosen the bone. Still wouldn’t come out. As they were on phone, loading up to go to Emergency Vet in Indio, Champ started “fading” ‘cuz he lost his airway. This relaxed the throat muscles enough that she could grab the bone with long forceps. In trying to hold his mouth open, Conni slices her finger on a tooth in Champ’s mouth. The bone was removed! Champ was rushed to Indio Vet (airway damage could have caused throat to swell shut), where he was treated for lacerations to trachea, and put on medications.

Thank you to all you loyal donors, visitors to the website, volunteers, 29 Palm community and other wildlife resources. Feeding and caring for the animals and equine is ongoing so FFWRT needs your help with $5 for 5 loaves donation campaign. Jesus feed 5000 with 5 small loaves of bread and two fish, so a $5 donation from spread over many people will go along way to care for animals and horses.

Send in your donation today! Get the word out by sending a message to (2) people for only $5.

Stay tuned for more car washes and other fund raising events. Volunteers are needed too! A couple hours tops for small projects and for groups the larger projects of cleaning and building a few more hours. Just a few hours a month or week. Thank you in advance
